Panaji:
A 22-year-old woman from Uganda was arrested on Saturday for allegedly killing a man at Baga beach, police said.
Minamu Hafusa was held from Anjuna area after the body of local resident Jafrino Barretto was found on Friday, an official said.
“The accused is from Uganda and is here on a tourist visa. We have arrested her for killing Barretto,” Calungute police inspector Nolasco Raposo said.
Another official said Barretto was bludgeoned to death and Hafusa was held as a probe found the deceased was last seen with her.
