South Delhi MP accuses AAP govt of ‘favouring’ liquor mafias

Encounter on between security forces, terrorists in Poonch

New Delhi:

Accusing the Kejriwal government of ‘favouring’ liquor mafias, South Delhi MP Ramesh Bidhuri on Saturday alleged that the food grains given to the poor by the central government are being deliberately rotted so that it can be sold to liquor mafias at cheap prices.

Further arguing that the Kejriwal’s policies remain ‘favourable’ for liquor mafias, the BJP MP said that the AAP government had decided a few days ago that more liquor shops would be started in Delhi.

“If the Kejriwal government is really helpful to the poor, then the ration received from the Centre should have been distributed from the beginning. There are around 2000 ration shops in Delhi which undertake ration distribution,” Bidhuri asserted.

“There is mixing of stones in the grain and Arvind Kejriwal is providing such grain to the people of Delhi. In this context, Kejriwal had also called for action against the culprits but no action has been taken yet,” added the South Delhi MP.

The BJP MP further said that the people of Delhi are ‘suffering’ due to the ‘negligence and failure’ of Arvind Kejriwal.

“If Kejriwal had implemented the policy of ‘One Nation, One Ration Card’ for the people of Delhi, then during the lockdown, the migrant poor labourers would not have to migrate from Delhi and based on their state’s ration card, they would be given the same in Delhi,” Bidhuri concluded.
