SDMC launches COVID-19 tele -counselling service for citizens

The South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) has started Covid-19 tele -counselling service for addressing psychological problems of citizens.

The SDMC  has extended a helping hand to the citizens who are distressed amid the coronavirus outbreak and Lockdown, said a release, adding the   SDMC is  starting a  Covid-19 tele -counselling service for addressing Psychological set back suffered by citizens  during lock down and Covid-19 scare.

The citizens can contact the control room toll free helpline  no. 1800115676  between 9am to 5pm for counselling.

The SDMC doctors will address the problems of the citizens through telephonic counselling and will provide psychological assistance to people facing anxiety and stress-related problems.

The citizens will be educated and sensitised about the importance of mental health and informed the relaxation techniques and methods. The SDMC in its endeavour wants to ensure mental health and well-being of the citizens in this hard time.
