Hyderabad:
One worker died and four others sustained injuries including two seriously in a blast on the premises of an explosive products manufacturing unit here on Wednesday, police said.
The blast occurred on Wednesday afternoon following explosion of some detonators at Kukatpally, resulting in the death of one worker and severe injuries to other workers and minor injuries to two others, a police official said.
All the injured were shifted to a state-run hospital, the official added.
Asked about the cause of the explosion, the official said the blast happened due to explosion of some detonators, adding whether it was accidental or if there were other reasons was still not known.
A case was registered and further probe is on.
