The district administration Gautam Buddh Nagar on Wednesday carried out sanitisation in sector 5 and sector 8 after about 200 families being quarantined under cluster containment exercise.
District magistrate Suhas LY said that a youth who had come from Jharkhand was found Coronavirus positive. During investigation it came to light that he had met many families in sector-5 and sector-8. That is why about 200 families were taken to quarantine centre as a precautionary step.
However, he clarified that no new case of Coronavirus positive has come to light from sector-8.
The aforesaid families from sector -5 and sector -8 have been quarantined at a hospital at sector -39.
