Night temperatures remain above normal in Rajasthan

IMD warns cold wave in 9 Odisha districts, Phulbani coldest at 7.5 degree Celsius

 

Jaipur:

Night temperatures remained above normal in parts of Rajasthan, where Bhilwara was recorded as the coldest place at 6 degrees Celsius.

However, the mercury dipped to zero degrees Celsius in Mount Abu, the sole hill station of the desert state.

In the rest of the areas, the night temperature was recorded between 6.1 degrees and 12.7 degrees Celsius, according to the Meteorological (MeT) Department.

Fog also occurred at isolated places in northern Rajasthan.

The department has forecast cold wave conditions in Sikar, Jhunjhunu, Alwar, Bharatpur, Bhilwara, Hanumangarh, Sriganganagar, Churu and Bikaner during next 24 hours.:
