Shimla:
A man accused of murder escaped from police custody when he was brought at a hospital here for treatment on Saturday, a senior official said.
Gurminder Singh of Punjab was brought to the IGMC Hospital by the Sirmaur district police, Shimla Additional Superintendent of Police Praveer Singh Thakur said.
He escaped from custody and efforts are on to nab him. All station house officers have been directed to set up check points and carry out search operations, Thakur said.
