Two people were arrested after the Mumbai Crime Branch busted a flesh trade racket on Saturday, said an official.

Acting on a tip-off, Unit XII of the Crime Branch sent a decoy customer and “fixed” a deal for Rs 30,000, an official said.

“Afrin Saba Abbas Salim (25) and Tushar Chandrakant (52), both residents of Palghar, were arrested when they arrived with a girl near a mall in Goregaon East as part of the decoy deal. Two women and a minor girl were rescued. A case under Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act (PITA) has been registered at Dindoshi police station,” he said.
