The 71st Republic Day was celebrated at Marigold Public School with enthusiasm & gaiety, wherein students from various age-groups staged cultural programmes.
The centre of attention on the occasion was the Inter house ‘Folk dance’ competition, in which students from Gandhi, Nehru, Bose and Tagore houses took part. Also the students sang patriotic songs which received a big round of applause from the audience. Meanwhile, Class 6th students presented a drama highlighting their patriotism towards the country.
In the much appreciated Folk dance competition, Gandhi house emerged as winner while the Nehru house remained on the runner-up position.
