MAARG, a non-government organization, here on Friday provided face shield, PPE kits, face masks, gloves, coffee / tea vending machine, and premix material to police personnel.
These items were provided to the police in a function organized at Police Commissioner Office. The police commissioner, Alok Singh, appreciated the support provided by the NGO for the welfare of the people.
Speaking on the occasion, chairman and managing trustee of the NGO, Anurag Shrivastava, said that the non-government organization has provided 150 face shield, 25 PPE kits, 250 face masks, 100 gloves, 8
tea / coffee vending machine, 16 kg coffee premix, 16 kg tea premix and 3000 disposal cups for the police personnel. Gunjan IVF world and Vending Updates is supporting MAARG in this endeavour.
MAARG is an alumni and grants foundation of Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Prayagraj and periodically performs various
public welfare works such as blood donation camps, help of poor school children and women, said Shrivastava.
Additional commissioner of police Akhilesh Kumar, additional commissioner of police Shriparna Ganguly, deputy commissioner of police Vrinda Shukla, additional deputy commissioner of police Ashutosh Dwivedi, were present on the occasion. Officials from MAARG including G.P. Singh, Pawan Garg, Gaurav Singhai, and Dr Pradyot Govil were also present on the occasion.
