India’s second mission to the Moon, Chandrayaan-2 is an attempt to land near the south pole of the Moon between 1:30 and 2:30 am Saturday. Chandrayaan-2’s lander Vikram house the six-wheeled rover Pragyaan that will explore the lunar surface for around 14 Earth days. The Chandrayaan-2 mission also consists of an orbiter that will revolve around the Moon for around a year.
