Hot day in Delhi as city records high of 40.1 deg C

New Delhi:

Delhiites experienced a warm Friday with the maximum temperature settling at 40.1 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the year.

The minimum temperature was recorded at 25.3 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season’s average.

The Palam observatory recorded a maximum temperature of 39.3 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 25.8 degrees Celsius while Lodhi Road recorded a high of 38.6 degrees Celsius and a low of 24.6 degrees Celsius.

Humidity levels oscillated between 74 per cent and 39 per cent.

The weatherman has forecast partly cloudy skies for Saturday with the maximum and minimum temperatures likely to settle around 40 degrees Celsius and 26 degrees Celsius, respectively.

On Thursday, the national capital had recorded a high of 41.2 degrees Celsius and a low of 22.2 degrees Celsius.
