Ghaziabad:
The first death due to Coronavirus was reported here from Ghaziabad on Sunday. With that the total number of deaths due to the Coronavirus has gone upto six in Uttar Pradesh.
A youth from Loni who was admitted to the RML Hospital New Delhi died on Sunday. He was suffering from Coronavirus-19. It is reported that he was found Coronavirus positive in the report that came after his death.
The Ram Park area of Loni where the deceased used to belong to, has been sealed by the health department. Besides, nine members of his family have also been sent to the MMG Hospital for quarantine.
The deceased was believed to be in contact with about 50 persons. Now the department concerned is in search of these persons. All these persons would also be quarantined after tracing them, said the official concerned.
Uttar Pradesh has reported 452 cases of coronavirus and five fatalities, according to Health Ministry data. The disease has infected more than 8,000 people and claimed at least 273 lives across the country.
