New Delhi:
To help the Safai Karamcharis in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic, the Gautam Gambhir Foundation has given 2000 masks, 1000 soaps and 30 sanitizers to the East Delhi Municipal Corporation (EDMC).
The protection materials were handed over by the foundation to the corporation’s central store, Nand Nagri.
Arun Kumar, director, Press and Information, East Delhi Municipal Corporation, said that our Safai Karamcharis are regularly carrying out the sanitation work amid the pandemic.
He further said that East Delhi Municipal Corporation is committed about the safety of its sanitation workers and necessary safety kits are being provided to them.
