The Bharwari ‘kendra’ of the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan (BVB)– Bhavan’s Mehta Vidyashram, has successfully completed 44 years on Saturday. The CBSE affiliated English medium ‘Day cum Boarding’ school, was established on November 14, 1976 in auspicious presence of Late Girdhari Lal Mehta (Chairman- Mehta Trust), Late S Ramakrishnan (Executive Secretary -BVB), Late CL Gupta (Joint Secretary- Mehta Trust) and Late Thakur Rameshwar Singh (Manager- Mehta Trust).
Located at outskirts of Prayagraj, in Bharwari town, the institution was established for ensuring that the quality education is available to the students in rural areas and simultaneously promoting the Indian cultures & traditions among them.
The rigorous and dedicated approach of the management ensured that every student gets the platform to fulfill his/her aspirations.
HIGHLIGHTS:
- Director, Dr. Ram Naresh Tripathi said that the BVB has also been vocal about preserving the Indian values, traditions and cultures, and it (BVB) will continue to take initiatives for promoting innovating thinking.
- Principal Sanjay Srivastava said that the school is leaving no stone unturned for the overall development of its students and will continue to serve for the society by imparting quality education

Spread over an area of 110 acres, the campus also comprises a PG College (affiliated by Allahabad State University). Both, the school and college, are considered as one of the top institutes in the area.
On completing 44 years of journey, Senior official, Ravindra Kumar Singh alongwith Awadhesh Mishra, Ram Sanehi Srivastava and other employees paid floral tributes to Late KM Munshi (Founder- BVB) and Late Girdhari Lal Mehta.
Mr Singh recalled the initial days of the institution and the geographical challenges that the institution had faced, and how it later emerged as the best educational institute in the area. He said that the institution has upgraded during the course of time and it is continuously striving towards the perfection.

On the occasion, Chairman Retired Justice DS Sinha (Former Chief Justice of the Gujarat High Court) and Director Dr. Ram Naresh Tripathi congratulated the staff members. Dr. Tripathi said that the BVB has also been vocal about preserving the Indian values, traditions and cultures, and it (BVB) will continue to take initiatives for promoting innovating thinking.
Principal Sanjay Srivastava also congratulated all the staff and students on the Foundation Day. Mr Srivastava said that rigorous working of the management, teachers and non-teaching staff has led to this successful journey. He said that the school is leaving no stone unturned for the overall development of its students and will continue to serve the society by imparting quality education.
