Bengaluru:
Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa faced an unpleasant situation on Friday evening when some flood-affected people tried to lay siege to his cavalcade in Gadag district, complaining of inadequate relief.
The police made a mild baton charge to disperse the group and allow his vehicle to proceed.
Gadag is among the worst hit areas where the Mallapura dam on Malaprabha river in Hole Alur Taluk has breached its banks.
Twelve people have so far been killed in rain related incidents in Karnataka.
