Fish trader shot dead in Rajasthan’s Kota

Kota:

A trader was shot dead after he interfered into an argument over some monetary dispute at the fish market here on Tuesday, police said.

Shakir Qureshi (38) was shot dead by Aman Baccha, who had come to the fish market along with five to six men, and entered into an argument with another fish trader.

Kaithunipole SHO Pawan Kumar Meena said irked at the intervention by the victim, Baccha fired at him, killing him on the spot.

The accused are yet to be arrested.

The victim’s family created ruckus at the local MBS hospital after the body was brought for a post-mortem.

They agreed for autopsy after officials convinced them of immediate action in the case.

The SHO said the body was handed over to the family and they had initiated investigation into the case.
