New Delhi: The charm and hospitality of Delhiites has something special. When it comes to any festival, no matter the language, culture, customs, Delhiites get captivated and indulge deep within the emotion, feeling and joy. One such similar charming and fun-filled experience is seen at the TV9 Festival of India, at Major Dhyanchand Stadium. The festival has captivated visitors with its vibrant mix of cultural heritage, modern flair, and festive spirit.
The Festival of India also celebrates the grandeur of Durga Puja, bringing the festive spirit alive with cultural performances and religious rituals. Guests were seen immersed in the joyous atmosphere, while admiring Delhi’s tallest Durga Puja Pandal.
After the fun-filled day 4, with special attractive activities for children, food, music, dance and other activities, it was followed by an enthralling evening of Garba and Dandia Dance. With captivating folk performances along with talented bands, artists, etc. amidst the presence of well-known personalities the evening was filled with amazing entertainment.
Dandiya and Garba night were the main attractions for the people in the evening, which was attended by a large number of people and everyone had a lot of fun, full of energy and enthusiasm, from the tunes of traditional folk songs to Bollywood hits. As the night progressed, people kept dancing to the tunes of Garba and Dandiya and enjoying the performances celebrating the diverse cultural heritage of India.
Thousands of people from Delhi-NCR attended the second TV9 Festival of India to worship Maa Durga and experience devotion. During the day, like all other days, various well-known personalities including UP Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak also reached the festival and took blessings of Maa Durga. BJP leader and MP from Delhi Manoj Tiwari also took blessings of Maa Durga. The enthusiasm of the people increased further when he came on stage. Manoj Tiwari thanked TV9 Network for organizing such a spectacular and memorable event.
The final day began with traditional puja. After which cultural performances and activities continued throughout the day. Folk artists performed traditional dances of Bengal, Punjab and Gujarat mesmerized the audience.
The 5-day TV9 Festival of India, concluded with the sacred Sindur Khela on the last day, symbolising unity and togetherness. Sindur Khela is a tradition that marks the end of Durga Puja, in which women apply sindoor to each other in celebration of unity and blessings. Sindoor Khela mesmerized everyone. Such a powerful and spectacular glimpse was truly heart-warming.
After an exciting round of shopping, food, various activities, songs and music throughout the day, the TV9 Festival of India concluded. People who came to enjoy the festival not only participated in the colourful programs but also went shopping at the stalls set up in the festival.
This five-day festival organized by TV9 Network attracted everyone with a vibrant mix of cultural heritage, modern flair and festive spirit. From fun games to attractive shows, the festival ensured that there was something for visitors of all ages. The entertainment-filled Anand Mela further enhanced the joyous atmosphere.
