Thane:
Police have busted a gang that cheated unsuspecting persons on the pretext of selling them U.S. dollars at a cheaper rate and arrested two persons, a Thane police officer said on Wednesday.
The arrested duo, Safiullah Shaikh (25) and Yakub Shaikh (22), are members of the notorious Dollar gang, said Assistant Commissioner of Police, Kalwa division, Sunil Gosalkar.
They had allegedly duped a car driver, a resident of Navi Mumbai, of Rs 2 lakh, the ACP said.
