The East Delhi Municipal Corporation (EDMC) has issued helpline numbers for redressal of complaints related to street lights.
In view of the coronavirus (Covid-19) threat, the East Delhi Municipal Corporation’s electricity department has issued a 24×7 helpline for registering complaints of non-functional street lights.
By using this helpline, citizens of East Delhi area can lodge their complaint regarding street lights from sitting at home.
Under this helpline, citizens can lodge complaints by giving missed call on +91 9930767253 or through toll free number 1800 4196400 or WhatsApp number +91 9930767253. Complaints can also be e-mailed to edmc.esmartstlcomplaints@gmail.com. Helpline facility is available round the clock, all days of the week.
Chief engineer of EDMC, electricity , R.K. Duggal, said that the East Delhi Municipal Corporation has about 1.12 lakh street lights in its jurisdiction. Proper maintenance arrangements have been made by the East Delhi Municipal Corporation.
