The East Delhi Municipal Corporation (EDMC) has decided to extend grace period for renewal of trade licenses up to June 30, 2020 without penalty and interest due to COVID-19 crisis.
In view of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the East Delhi Municipal Corporation (EDMC) has extended the grace period for renewal of general trade and storage license, factory license, health trade license up to 30th June 2020 without penalty and interest, said an EDMC release.
Mayor of East Delhi, Anju Kamalkant, said that the decision has been taken in the interest of the people of East Delhi in view of lockdown.
She further clarified that license renewed after 30 June 2020 will be liable to pay penalty, interest as applicable as the policy of EDMC.
