District admn introduces paid quarantine facility in hotels

'Disappointed' to find officials on leave when needed, Noida DM orders no holiday sans his nod

Noida:

The district administration Gautam Budh Nagar has introduced paid quarantine facility in which Coronavirus patients may stay in hotels by just paying Rs 2500 per day.

District magistrate Suhas L Y said that following the demand of certain patients quarantined in government hospitals and other health centres that they may be shifted in hotels, this decision has been taken with some conditions.

These paid quarantine patients would be able to stay only in those hotels which had been acquired by the district administration for which they have to  pay Rs 2500 per day.

He further said that the hotel management would look after daily routine affairs  of such hotels as usual , though health and police teams would  also be  deployed there. Only authorised persons would be allowed in such hotels.

It may be recalled that the local administration had acquired eight hotels in the city to provide accommodation to those who have been deployed for treatment of Coronavirus patients.
