District administration to seal 12 COVID-19 hotspots in Noida

Night curfew imposed in Noida, Ghaziabad till April 17

Noida:

In view of the Coronavirus, as many as 12 hotspots will be sealed in the Gautam Buddh Nagar district. Following the direction of chief minister Yogi Adityanath, the Gautam Buddh Nagar district administration is going to seal these hotspots from Wednesday midnight.

District magistrate Suhas L Y   said that after the government’s order as many as 12 hotspots in the district would be sealed till April 13. Next course of action would be taken after reviewing the situation after April 13, he added.

No shop including that of medicine, dairy, and vegetables  in these areas would be opened during this period.  Essential items would be delivered through home delivery. Only curfew pass holders would be allowed to visit these areas , added the official concerned.

The areas which have been identified as hotspots  include sector 135 and 137 as one cluster, Achheja and Bisnoli areas of Dadari,  Greater Noida’s sector Omicron , Ghori Bacchera, sector Alfa One and Jeeta sector, Patwari village and sector-2 of Greater Noida  as fifth cluster, Gaur City as sixth cluster ,   the seventh hotspot is sector-37 and 27 of Noida , sector-50, 44 and 100 as eight hotspot, the ninth cluster is sector -5 and its adjacent areas,    sector-62 and adjacent areas as 10th hotspot,  the 11th hotspot is sector -74 and sector  78 of  Noida and 12th hotspot is Noida’s sector -150 and adjacent areas.

CMO A K Chaturvedi that 300 teams have been deployed to do house to house  survey in these identified areas.
