Bitter cold in eastern UP

IMD warns cold wave in 9 Odisha districts, Phulbani coldest at 7.5 degree Celsius

Severe cold-wave conditions prevailed at isolated places over eastern Uttar Pradesh on Saturday.

The meteorological department said that the lowest temperature in the state was 3.2 degrees Celsius was recorded at Churk observatory in Sonbhadra district, while the highest was 25.1 degrees in Allahabad and Jhansi district.

The weather will most likely remain dry and shallow-to-moderate fog is expected at isolated places on Sunday morning.
