Shahjahanpur (UP):
Four persons were killed and five injured when a car hit a man on the road and then while fleeing collided with an autorickshaw in Roza area here on Monday, police said.
The car hit the man near Duria village killing him on the spot. After that while fleeing, the car hit an autorickshaw in Roza area killing three others occupants,” Superintendent of Police, S Chinappa said.
The five injured in the incident have been rushed to a hospital where their condition was stated to be stable, the police officer said.
While Pappu (45) was killed in Duria village, the other three deceased were Ankit Babu (35), Rakhi (3) and Kunan (12). Police have seized the vehicle and are trying to arrest the car driver.
