Delhi recorded 119 fresh COVID-19 cases on Sunday, raising its tally to 6,36,035, while the death toll reached 10,879 with two more fatalities.
The positivity rate in the city stood at 0.22 percent.
Delhi had recorded 96 coronavirus cases on January 27, the lowest in over nine months, and the first time the daily incidences count had stood below the 100-mark in that month.
Also, on Friday, the fatality count was two, same as on February 2, which was the lowest in the last 10 months.
The 119 fresh cases came out of the 54,247 tests conducted the previous day. The positivity rate stood at 0.22 percent, according to the latest bulletin issued by the Delhi health department.
The infection tally in the city rose to 6,36,035 and the death toll mounted to 10,879 with two new fatalities, authorities said.
The active cases on Sunday dropped to 1,112 from 1,174 the previous day, according to the bulletin.
The total number of tests conducted the previous day included 34,102 RT-PCR tests and 20,145 rapid antigen tests, the bulletin said.
On February 1, the city had recorded three deaths due to COVID-19, which Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain had termed the “lowest in the last 10 months”.
On February 2, the count had dropped to two, making it the lowest figures in the last 10 months. On February 3 and 4, the figures were six and seven respectively.
According to the Sunday bulletin, out of the total number of 6,135 beds in COVID hospitals, 5,624 are vacant.
It said 147 beds in COVID care centres are occupied by persons under quarantine, including travellers who have returned by Vande Bharat Mission and bubble flights.
The number of tests done per million, as on Saturday, was over 5.86 lakh while the total number of tests stood at over 1.11 crore.
The bulletin said 6,24,044 patients have recovered, been discharged or migrated so far.
The number of containment zones in Delhi dropped to 969 on Sunday from 977 the previous day, authorities said.
The number of people in home isolation dropped to 465 on Sunday from 471 the previous day.
